Organic 2051: Forum on the Future of Farming

MOSES invites farmers, researchers, ag professionals, and other thought-leaders to apply to participate in an innovative, forward-thinking forum taking place Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 (the day before the MOSES Conference) in La Crosse, Wis. This event will bring together 100 change-makers in the organic community to identify current resources, opportunities, and future needs. The day will feature plenary speakers, guided group discourse, and small-group collaborations, resulting in a published framework to advance organic practices over the next 30 years. Participants receive free admission, lodging, and meals. Applications are due by Nov. 30, 2018. A committee will review applications and select the 100 participants. The participant list will be published Dec. 10.

We welcome your application to participate in this groundbreaking event. You can access the application form on the webpage linked above, or go directly to it here:

Accepted participants attend the Organic 2051 at no cost, with lodging provided the night before, and food provided during the forum.

Organic 2051 is being held in conjunction with the MOSES Organic Farming Conference, which begins the next day. Please note your application for Organic 2051 does NOT include registration to the MOSES Conference.  Registration for the MOSES Conference will open later this fall.

Looking forward to it,

Jerry Ford, Organic 2051 Coordinator
