Last week, WLFN hosted the Local Food EXPO as part of the Edible Startup Summit. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Expo, and for all the speakers and consultants who came to help new and existing food and farming businesses across Wisconsin!

YMCA LaCrosse
Thanks to the YMCA LaCrosse for the tour of the urban edible community forest. Their Local Food Forest is a testament to the ingenuity and determination of community-minded people in the LaCrosse Area. If you’re in the area, stop by their Food Forest as soon as you can!

Michigan Good Food Summit
Thanks to the Michigan Center for Regional Food Systems at Michigan State University for inviting us to attend their annual summit. This year’s theme was equity, and it has definitely inspired us to address equity throughout our food system and society in new ways. Get in touch if you want to discuss!

Blackhawk Hills Regional Council Summit
Thanks to our southern neighbors for inviting Jessica to moderate a panel on local foods and economic development in Northwest Illinois.
